Opening Day and extension of fishing season

The river will open as usual on Thursday 11^th February.  Unfortunately the current COVID restrictions mean that for the first time in many years we will not be able to have our traditional ceremony unless things change.

Following further discussions about extending the fishing season the Directors have all agreed that the main river, excluding the estuary beat which begins 100 metres downstream of the A9 bridge, will open for fishing from the opening day onwards.  The season dates for fishing the main river will be 11^th February to 31^st October 2021.  Members should ensure that they have obtained their membership cards before the opening day.
